Training week ending 31st July

Nearly there now, with a holiday coming up in the next two weeks this will be the last post about training before we do our challenge.

The last four weeks have been fantastic with training, no car for me meant more walking and cycling everyday and on Sunday 31st July we met up with everyone in our group and ridge walked the length of The Malvern Hills, North Hill to Chase End in Gloucestershire. Total was 21.8 miles and we did it in excellent time too.

The only downside was that the pain in my left knee reappeared towards the end of the walk, a visit from a Physio confirmed a torn ligament but with a small amount of treatment and rest it should be fixed it time. Sam was fine although on closer inspection he did have blisters in places he never knew existed on his feet!!!
